Port of Amory

The Port of Amory offers access to the central and western part of the United States through barge, rail, and truck. Spanning 40 acres, this location also features both covered and open storage space.

Since 2016, Watco has operated the port and terminal, serving customers in the energy, steel, agricultural, aggregate, and chemical markets, among others. Watco also operates and manages the barge fleeting here, along a mile of frontage on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.

Storage Domes

This site features seven storage domes for coal, ore, and other dry-bulk materials. The domes’ total capacity is 10,500 tons.

  • Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Drivers must sign in at the main office upon arrival
  • Required personal protective equipment: gloves, hard hat, safety boots, safety glasses, and high-visibility vest
