Four Rivers Marine Terminal

This terminal handles multiple commodities with room for expansion. Watco is a joint-venture partner of SCH Services, LLC, which owns and operates the Four Rivers terminal.

Multimodal Facility

The site stands out for its access to multiple Class I railroads, major waterways, and an interstate highway. This terminal primarily handles inbound coal trains from across the country, where it’s stockpiled or transferred to barge. Highway proximity also allows for truck transportation of dry bulk materials at Four Rivers. Designed for high throughput and increased efficiency, the terminal can handle two unit trains simultaneously, and the transloading capacity for dry bulk is 4,000 tons/hour.
