Roanoke Transload Terminal (TBT)
The Roanoke Transload Terminal is operated by Watco as part of Norfolk Southern’s Thoroughbred Bulk Terminal (TBT) network. The terminal is a secure, paved facility that offers railcar containment and bonded track. It primarily handles liquids, but the team here also has experience with various commodities.
Bonded Track
Our rail is grounded and bonded to help prevent static or other electric discharge around fuel or any chemicals that could ignite.
Railcar Containment
Meeting regulatory requirements and isolating any spills is critical. The Roanoke site, with a berm surrounding it, is completely contained.
