Located on the Port Sutton Channel in Tampa, Florida, Tampaplex spans 114 acres and offers deep-water access via Tampa Bay. The multimodal terminal provides vessel, barge, rail, and truck connectivity, with direct CSX service, extensive covered and open storage, and 24-hour vessel operations.

Extensive Storage and Material Handling

Tampaplex offers a combination of covered, silo, and open storage to support a wide range of bulk and breakbulk commodities. The terminal features three warehouses totaling 72,000 tons of storage, three 3,000-ton silos, and 40 acres of open storage.

The terminal also offers multiple rail and truck handling points, with capacity for up to 400 railcars and rail unloading rates of up to 750 tons per hour.

Deep-water Marine Access

Tampaplex provides deep-water access via Tampa Bay and the Port Sutton Channel, with two ship docks supporting dry bulk and scrap metal movements. One dock is designated for dry bulk imports, while the other supports dry bulk and scrap metal exports.

Vessel and barge connectivity, 24-hour vessel operations, and marine cargo-handling services support customers moving bulk commodities through the Tampa market. Stevedoring services, including vessel loading and unloading, are available through Tampa Bay Stevedores.

Floating Crane and Stevedoring Services

Customers at Tampaplex have access to two floating cranes operated by Tampa Bay Stevedores, providing additional marine cargo-handling capabilities throughout Tampa Bay. Services include vessel loading and unloading, vessel hold inspection and cleaning, vessel gear operation, and cargo trimming.

Tampaplex connects customers to multiple modes of transportation, providing flexible options for moving commodities into, out of, and through the terminal.
