Tulsa Port of Catoosa Marine Terminal

Watco is a key service provider at the this terminal — one of the largest inland river ports in the United States, connecting customers to Gulf waterways and beyond.

Watco operates the general dry cargo dock at the port, which serves the Verdigris River portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Oklahoma. This public dock is 720 feet long with a 230-foot-wide concrete apron. Watco rigging specialists and stevedores handle breakbulk and heavy-lift items using a well-positioned 200-ton-capacity overhead traveling bridge crane, a 140-ton-capacity mobile crane, and an assortment of forklifts and other equipment. They transfer directly between barge, railcar, and truck or in and out of storage; this location offers 45,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and 150,000 sq. ft. of outdoor storage.

The Port of Catoosa is served by both the BNSF and Watco’s South Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad (SKOL). The SKOL provides connections to CPKC and UP.

Outdoor Storage

The 150,000 sq. ft. of outdoor laydown space offers not only gravel but also a concrete pad, providing a stable, moisture-resistant foundation to support project cargo or other over-dimensional cargo.
